Pediatric Dental Surgical Associates

Johnny Kuttab, DDS

Dr. Johnny Kuttab grew up in Hoffman Estates and received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Dental Science from UIC in 2004. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2008, and completed post doctorate education in Pediatric Dentistry at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago/Northwestern University in July of 2010.

Dr. Johnny’s goal is to provide children with the best dental surgery experience along with high-quality full-mouth restoration. He completes full-mouth rehabilitation surgeries using general anesthesia at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Johnny remains an active attending at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and trains residents in pediatric dentistry. He has also served on the board of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists.

Dr. Johnny prides himself on his behavior management techniques, putting children in the best position to have a positive experience. A happy patient is a happy parent.

Andreina Ramones, DMD

Dr. Andreina Ramones is originally from Boca Raton, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. She continued her studies in Arizona, graduating from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Ramones completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry through Lutheran Medical Center. She then worked as a general dentist in the Phoenix area for two years, before starting her residency in pediatric dentistry at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago; she graduated in June of 2016.

Dr. Ramones now calls Chicago her home. She is an advocate of serving her community and believes that continuing education is a way to better serve her patients. Being fluent in Spanish, she travels yearly with the Bright Island Outreach organization providing dental services to the underserved communities in the Dominican Republic. She enjoys working with children and advocates oral health education among children in her community.

In her spare time, Dr. Ramones enjoys keeping up with her cooking blog, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her wonderful dog Halle Berry.

Claire Sheehan, DDS

Dr. Claire Sheehan was born and raised in the Chicago land area. She attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. While there, she played on the Women’s Basketball team and during her senior year she was named to the NCAA Division III Coach’s All-America team.

Dr. Sheehan then continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She received the Delta Dental Plan of Illinois Outstanding Dental Student Award and was voted into the Sigma Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon for exemplary scholarship and character. After dental school, Dr. Sheehan completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic in Chicago, Illinois. She then worked as a general dentist in the Chicago suburbs for one year before starting her residency in pediatric dentistry at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She will be graduating in July of 2017.

 

Reema Patel, DDS

Dr. Reema Patel was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She successfully completed the 6-year Accelerated Scholar’s Program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where she obtained her undergraduate education and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

After graduation, Dr. Reema moved to Chicago to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic where she had extensive training with special needs and medically compromised patients. While practicing general dentistry for three years, her desire and interest to continue to work with children led her to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Reema completed her pediatric dental training at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in 2018.

Her ultimate mission is to educate both parents and children on preventive dental care. She recognizes that each child has different needs and is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality of dental care while doing it in a fun and enjoyable environment. In her spare time, Dr. Reema loves traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her friends and family. Chicago is her new home and she looks forward to serving the local community.
